Experimental Quantum Message Authentication with Single Qubit Unitary Operation

We have developed a quantum message authentication protocol that provides and integrity of an original using single qubit unitary operations. Our mainly consists two parts: encryption correspondence check. The part is implemented linear combinations wave plates, the check performed Hong–Ou–Mandel interference. By analyzing coincidence counts interference, we successfully proven proposed experimentally, also showed its robustness against existential forgery.
